Hi, we’re Neysa and Tabari.

We tell stories that celebrate food, culture, and community. Our mission is to empower people to show up authentically so they can expand and build community.

As a Black and Queer owned business, emotional safety, inclusivity, and authenticity have been the north star with our partnerships and creative process.

Get on our calendar if you have an upcoming project and need our help or would like to partner with us. Let’s chat!

“Y’all are a breath of fresh air with so much personality. In a time of sameness and neutrals, y’all are SO refreshing!”

- Christina, founder of Confetti Creative

Our Creative Process

  • Brand Strategy

Once you’ve signed on to work with us, we’ll schedule a virtual creative call. On this call, we’ll be prepared with ideas for visuals, creative direction, and build a compelling narrative that will resonate aligns with your business goals.

Then, we’ll create a detailed shot list that we can follow on our filming day.

  • Filming Day

Now that we know the direction we’re going in and have arrangements made, we’re ready to start filming. On our filming day, we’re following our shot list and having fun along the way.

  • Editing & Revisions

Now, it’s time to put everything together. You’ll have 3 rounds of revisions. In the first round, our goal is to make sure the story is moving in the right direction. In the second round, we’ll add the visual details that make the project exciting and engaging. The last round is the final touch.

We’re committed to delivering a product that you’ll love. You’ll also get social media cut downs that are ready to share to promote the video or repurpose to grow the brand.

Our capabilities

“Y’all not only saw my vision, but you expanded the vision”

Chef Ryan Rondeno,

LA-based celebrity private chef

The most important qualities we nurture on our journey is our ability to listen, cultivate self awareness, and increase our capacity for failure.

Listening is important at every stage because our clients do need us, they are having their own experiences, and in many ways they communicate that to us all the time. We pay attention to that so that we know how to support them, how to produce the best work for them, and what services to offer next.

Understanding ourselves on a deep level allows us to stay in tune with making the right decisions as business owners. It also takes us out of comparison mode so that we can stay focused on our own growth.

Lastly, expanding capacity for failure is essential for growth. 100% of our revenue is from 20% of the decisions we made. The other 80% were failures. That means that failure is necessary.
