“You’re a bad influence on me”.

That’s what I used to say when Tabari and I started dating. We would share stories about all the drugs he did and all the drugs I was too scared to try.

He would tell you that I’m a little daredevil too. I even taught him how to swim after decades of being afraid of the water.

Our relationship reminded me that it’s okay to color outside the lines. If we wanna grow, we’ve gotta challenge what we think we already know.

We’re not meant to fit into the box that they put us in.

Most of us are taught that if we listen to that little voice in the back of our heads no good could come of it.

I’ll tell you what…

we embrace that voice. That’s the Ginger and Carrot secret sauce. We tell that voice to pull up a chair ‘cause we have work to do, impact to make, and worlds to build.

That’s how we create content that creates loyalty.

People’s attention spans aren’t shrinking, they’re just tired of the same ‘ole sh * t. They want something real.
